What is a Project Proposal ?

Project Proposal is a document you share with prospective clients that describes what your vision is for their project, how you plan to work on it and how (how much) you would charge for your work.


With Morff, if a lead likes your work, they may request a work proposal from you. Our standardized format helps you break down your proposal into logical parts, such as Objectives, Scope of Work, and Methodology. Creating a proposal on Morff is super simple as it can be completed within 10 mins and can be shared with the lead with the click of a button.

Clearly state the major objective as deduced from the project brief.

Outline the extent of work / roughly indicate the number of deliverables you'll undertake to meet the objectives.

Methodology

Briefly explain the Methodology/Process you’ll follow to complete the project.


For Example: You have to design a logo for a pet care brand, the details of this project can be as below:

Objective: To design a Logo for a pet care brand. 


Scope of work: I will provide 2-3 concepts for the logo, all hand sketched or line drawn, and as per the client’s choice will digitize any one of the concepts using Adobe Illustrator. I will also present logo and color variations on the finalized concept, if required.


Methodology:  The step-by-step process I’ll follow till the delivery of the actual work.

  1. Research & Brainstorming for the concepts for 2 days

  2. Delivery of 3 Logo concepts with moodboard, hand sketched logo, Color Options

  3. Will also present logo and color variations on the finalized concept (if required)

  4. Deliver Full Logo with the open file (AI, EPS or CDR)


B. Items & Timelines

On Morff, items are basically deliverables. There could be a single or multiple deliverables for a single project. Depending upon the quantity & intricacy of deliverables you can go on to decide its delivery timeline. For example, a Brand Design project might have a Logo, a Brand Guideline Book and Collaterals as its deliverables which might be delivered sequentially.
